FAQ

  • What happens during the initial consultation?

Your consultation is relaxed, friendly, and completely tailored to you. You will be asked about your medical history, medications, allergies, lifestyle factors and any previous aesthetic treatments. We will examine your facial anatomy, muscle movement and skin quality to determine the safest and most effective treatment options. You will be given a clear explanation of recommended treatments, possible alternatives, expected outcomes and any potential risks. This is also the time for you to ask questions. No treatment is carried out without informed consent and a face-to-face assessment with a prescriber.

  • How long do fillers last?

The longevity of filler depends on the area treated, the thickness of the product and your individual metabolism. Lip fillers typically last around six to nine months, while treatments to the cheeks, chin or jawline may last twelve to eighteen months. Tear trough and non-surgical rhinoplasty results also tend to last longer due to less movement in those areas.

  • What are skin boosters and how do they work?

Skin boosters involve a series of micro-injections of lightweight hyaluronic acid designed to improve hydration, elasticity and smoothness from within. Unlike fillers, they do not add volume. Instead, they create healthier, plumper and more radiant. They focus on enhancing skin quality rather than altering facial shape, making them a popular treatment for clients seeking natural rejuvenation.

  • Are fillers safe?

When performed by an experienced, medically trained practitioner, dermal fillers are considered safe. Mild swelling or bruising is common and usually resolves within a few days. More serious complications, such as a blocked blood vessel, are rare, but the practitioner is trained and equipped to treat them immediately if needed.

  • What concerns can microneedling help with?

Microneedling encourages collagen and elastin production, which can improve fine lines, pigmentation, acne scarring, enlarged pores and uneven texture. Clients often achieve the best results through a course of sessions spaced several weeks apart

  • Can clients be treated if they take medication or have medical conditions?

It depends on the medication or condition. Some medications may increase bruising, affect healing or interact with certain treatments. This is why a thorough medical history is taken before anything goes ahead.
