  • Microneedling works by using tiny, ultra-fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. Don’t worry, it sounds scarier than it is! These micro-channels are so precise that they close almost instantly, but they trigger your body’s natural repair process.

    2. Preparation – your skin is cleansed, and a numbing cream may be applied for comfort.

    3. Microneedling – the Dermapen 4 glides across your skin, creating thousands of tiny microchannels.

    4. Soothing & Nourishment – active serums are often applied to enhance results, followed by calming skincare.

    Treatment time: around 30–45 minutes.

  • Your skin may look pink or slightly flushed (like a sunburn) for 24–48 hours. This is a normal part of the healing process.

    We’ll give you detailed aftercare advice, but generally:

    • Avoid makeup and active skincare products for 24 hours

    • Use a gentle cleanser and daily SPF

    • Keep your skin hydrated with recommended serums or creams

    Most people feel comfortable returning to work or normal activities the next day.

    • General skin rejuvenation: 3–4 sessions

    • Acne scars/stretch marks: 4–6 sessions

    • Anti-aging maintenance: 1–2 sessions per year after your initial course

  • Stimulates Natural Collagen & Elastin

    Collagen is what gives your skin its firmness, and elastin gives it bounce. As we age, production slows down, leading to lines, sagging and dullness. Dermapen 4 gently “reminds” your skin to make more of both so it renews itself naturally from the inside out.

  • Dermapen 4 uses a precision motorised pen with ultra-fine needles that move rapidly up and down to create thousands of micro-channels in the skin. These tiny, controlled micro-injuries do not damage the outer layer of the skin (the epidermis), but they trigger the body’s natural repair response. This controlled stimulation prompts the dermis (the deeper layer of the skin) to produce new collagen and elastin fibers, a process called dermal remodeling.

    Over the following weeks, this renewed collagen network strengthens the skin, improving its texture, elasticity, and overall appearance. This remodeling process can continue for several months after a treatment course, resulting in long-lasting improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, scars, stretch marks and skin tone irregularities.

  • The microchannels created during treatment also serve another important function: they allow topical serums and active ingredients to penetrate deeper into the skin than would normally be possible. This means that nourishing serums, growth factors, or hyaluronic acid applied during the session can work far more effectively, enhancing overall results
